On September 26, 2017, Sevil Rasulzade, the Master student of the Department of Journalism, who has been majoring in Broadcast Journalism, defended her thesis “Coverage of gender issues on television”. The Defense committee included Jabir Khalilov, Associate Professor, PhD, Dean of the School of Humanities and Social Sciences, Knyaz Aslan, Associate Professor, (Baku State University), Aynur Nasirova, PhD in Philology (Baku State University), Dilbar Zeynalova, Associate Professor, (Azerbaijan University of Languages), Jabir Mammadli, the Coordinator of the Department of Journalism and Valide Karimova, PhD candidate.

After an interactive discussion and a question-and-answer session, the dissertation was positively evaluated and the candidate was awarded a Master’s degree.
