On September 19, 2017, the certificate presentation ceremony, was organised, at the Marble Hall of Khazar University, for the 23 graduates of the subsequent training course on ‘School Management’ to potential school directors, the project of Khazar University, conducted in May – July.
It should also be noted that this training course will continue its work in the current academic year.
The main aim of the training course, in accordance with the country’s new education strategy and reform, is to increase the knowledge and skills of educational workers who want to work in leadership positions at schools and get them familiar with the world’s effective management practices.
During the course, the lectures were heard, the presentations were made, discussions and conversations were conducted.
It should be noted that 468 people have been trained under the project up to now, including 50 people most of whom (this figure is increasing regularly) have been assigned as a director or deputy director.
Professor Hamlet Isakhanli, the founder of Khazar University and the Chairman of its Board of Directors and Trustees, made a comprehensive speech. In his speech, he mentioned the importance of the course and advised graduates to apply their theoretical and practical knowledge to succeed in their work. Then the ceremony of awarding certificates to graduates started. The certificates were presented by Prof. Hamlet Isakhanli and Dr. Hassan Niknafs, the rector of the university. The memory photos were taken.
Dr. Hassan Niknafs delivered a speech after the end of certificate presentation ceremony and congratulated the graduates, wished them success in their work.
Zemfira Mesiyeva spoke on behalf of the graduates and expressed her gratitude to the leadership of Khazar University, Project managers – Elza Samadova, Dean of the School of Education and Raziya Isayeva, Development Director and their lecturers for the high level of training course organization.
The concert program was presented to the participants of the ceremony organised by the Department of Music and Fine Arts of Khazar University.
