On September 7, 2017, Professor Hamlet Isakhanli, the founder of Khazar University and Chairman of its Board of Directors and Trustees held a meeting with the new teaching staff of the School of Economics and Management of the University. Jeyhun Mammadov,  PhD in Economics, Dean of the School of Economics and Management presented new employees, Shahriyar Mukhtarov, PhD in Economics, Dean’s Assistant  and Elvin Mammadov, PhD in Economics, Coordinator of the Department of Economics and Management, to Professor Hamlet Isakhanli and gave detailed information about them.

Professor Hamlet Isakhanli, in his turn, informed the new members of the staff about the history, development stages, international relations of the university and the success achieved at the educational institution and spoke about the programs and international projects implemented at the university. During the meeting, the participants discussed various issues, such as the upcoming tasks, the management, the expansion of scientific and research activities, the improvement of the teaching and examination process, the enhancement of the quality of education, the organization of various seminars and scientific conferences to further increase the students' interest in science.
