On June 20, 2017, Konul Mardanova and Nurana Ismayilova, the Master students from the School of Humanities and Social Sciences defended their Master theses at English language and Literature Department.

Dr. Eldar Shahgaldiyev, the Head of the Division of Graduate Studies and Research; Dr. Irina Orujova and Dr. Irada Samadova, the teachers from Azerbaijan University of Languages; Eynur Mehdiyev, vice-chair of English language and Literature Department; Milana Abbasova, Minor Programs Coordinator; PhD. Jamala Mammadova and Gulnar Abasova, teachers of the department, took part in the defence.

During the defence Master students gave thorough information about their research and answered the questions.

Each student successfully defended her thesis and was awarded a Master’s degree.
