TAIEX workshop on Triple Helix Model and Education-Science-Start-Up

On June 5-6, 2017 TAIEX workshop on Triple Helix Model and Education-Science-Start-up was organized in Baku in cooperation with Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences and Azerbaijan Ministry of Education. Dr. Eldar Shahgaldiyev, head of the Division of Graduate Studies and Research and Dr. Gasham Zeynalov, head of the department of Petroleum Engineering, participated in the workshop.

The aim of the workshop was to explain the benefits of the Education-Science-Start-up (Academics, Government, and Industry) concept and to provide a better understanding of the Triple Helix system structure. Experts from four different EU member states shared their experiences on knowledge-based economy and the Triple Helix model.
