On April 20-21, 2017,a  scientific-practical conference entitled “Comparative Literature and Culture: Prototypes in Recycling Cultures and Cultural Genomes” was held at “Nefchiler” campus of Khazar University with the coordination of Khazar University and Azerbaijan Comparative Literature Association. Professor Hamlet Isakhanli, the founder of Khazar University and Chairman of its Board of Directors and Trustees, welcomed guests by opening the conference with introductory remarks. Then, Professor Rehile Geybullayeva, the president of Azerbaijan Comparative Literature Association gave detailed information to the guests about the conference. Later, lectures related to various spheres of literature and culture were presented. Scientists from Finland, Turkey and Russia took part at the conference.
