On June 21, 2016, a meeting of the boys’ and girls’ dance ensembles of Khazar University was held. Alovsat Amirbeyli, Director for Public Relations and Media, gave information about dance ensembles ` activities in Kahramanmaras and Giresun, Turkey, and expressed deep gratitude to students on behalf of the university administration. Then issues on preparation to Arhavi Festival to be held in August, in Arhavi, Turkey were discussed. Zulfiyye  Sadigova, head of  the Department of Music and Fine Arts, instructors Telman Eliyev and Sabina İsmayılova participated in the discussions. The dance ensembles` clothes, preparations and other issues were discussed at the meeting. It was decided to carry out intensive dance trainings by instructors during August and July for the Arhavi Festival.
