In May 2016, the Imagine Team is continuing to carry out activities in the frame of the marketing campaign they are working on.
The Imagine Team is composed of students of the School of Economics and Management of Khazar University. The team was formed to participate in the P2P: Challenging Extremism program, a global university youth initiative and international competition supported by the U.S. Department of State.
The team is led by Ms. Sana Imran, marketing instructor, and includes nine students:
Alihuseyn Agayev (Management, 2013-2017)
Dinara Katibi (Accounting and Auditing, 2013-2017)
Erlan IsmaiIov (Finance, 2013-2017)
Kamilla Lyatifova (Marketing, 2013-2017)
Nadir Gadirli (Finance, 2013-2017)
Narmin Abbasova (Accounting and Auditing, 2013-2017)
Narmin Zari (Business Administration, 2013-2017)
Suleyman Yagizarov (Finance, 2013-2017)
Ulviyya Azizova (Finance, 2013-2017)
The name of the team comes from their wish to see the world free from extremism and violence. Imagine Team promotional materials read, “Imagine a world free of violence. Imagine a world where everyone is treated equally. Imagine a world where there are no boundaries of nationalities, races, religions or sects. Let’s no longer accept the world we live in and use such excuses as 'it is just the way things are’ to justify inaction. Violence is and can never be 'just the way things are.’”
The Imagine Team calls everyone to join them in their fight against extremism. “The Imagine Team is all set to hold the hand of every child, to protect him / her from the extremist world & to promise a better and brighter tomorrow. Are you also ready?!?”
