The Khazar University Business Industry Club (KUBIC) connects the University with Azerbaijan’s business community to strengthen entrepreneurship, support innovative ideas and encourage the practical application of academic knowledge.
Established in 2025 through cooperation between Khazar University and business representatives, the Club provides a platform for dialogue between researchers, students and industry professionals. Its activities bring business experience into the University and promote collaboration around innovation and enterprise development. The Club’s activities are also open to the wider community, including alumni, students from other universities, and representatives of external organizations. Through Club-organized events held on campus, participants can access University venues for educational sessions, research, networking and discussions with business representatives.
KUBIC was introduced at the First Forum on Business and Science, hosted by Khazar University on 27 February 2025. The forum brought together researchers, entrepreneurs, company representatives and business associations to discuss how academic knowledge can contribute to industry and economic development.
Discussions addressed university-industry cooperation, vocational education and joint projects with entrepreneurs. This engagement provides a foundation for developing further partnerships and connecting University expertise with business needs.

KUBIC introduces students to business leaders and opportunities to develop their entrepreneurial skills. At its meeting on 1 May 2025, representatives from ENERGAZER, HRC GROUP, Financial Chain Corporation and Parla Pharmaceuticals shared professional experience and discussed business challenges, mentorship and startup development.
The Club’s development plans presented at the meeting included seminars, training sessions, workshops, summer schools and international exchanges. These activities are intended to strengthen participants’ knowledge, professional networks and readiness to develop their ideas.

KUBIC’s startup accelerator was presented as a mechanism for helping students refine innovative ideas and prepare ventures for international pitching. The support described included mentorship, funding and networking resources. The May meeting introduced these opportunities and enabled students to discuss entrepreneurial development directly with business representatives.
