The Club aims to develop students’ confidence, communication skills and effective self-expression in academic, professional, and social contexts. The Club provides a supportive environment where students can practice public speaking, improve presentation techniques, learn the principles of persuasive communication and overcome fear or hesitation when speaking in front of an audience. The Club helps students strengthen their ability to speak fluently, use appropriate body language and respond to questions effectively.
Additionally, the Club assists students in preparing for class presentations, academic conferences, Erasmus interviews, pre-mobility preparation, scholarship interviews, job interviews, debate competitions, and other speaking situations.
The Club recognizes the critical role of students’ soft skills development in fostering active listening, respectful dialogue, effective communication and leadership abilities. Through regular workshops, speech practice sessions, mock interviews and student-led presentations, students gain practical experience in different forms of oral communication.
The abovementioned activities are intended for all bachelor students, including students preparing for Erasmus+ mobility interviews, students preparing to engage in international programs, students who want to improve their presentation and academic speaking skills, students planning to participate in conferences, competitions or student events, students interested in debate, argumentation, leadership and student representation. The Club also welcomes master’s students and international students who wish to practice public speaking, strengthen intercultural communication, and become more active in university life.
The Public Speaking Club welcomes all motivated students who want to become more confident, clear, and effective communicators.
