The Club aims to provide a creative environment for students interested in theatre to realise their artistic potential. It enables members to stage their own scripts and offers practical opportunities to perform as actors, presenters, and in other stage roles.
Among the Club’s previous activities are the European Day of Languages celebrations, stage performances of William Shakespeare’s Hamlet and Macbeth, Novruz festivities, the Introduction to Theatre practical training workshop, and other creative events.

Planned Activity for 2026
Between March and May 2026, the Club will organise a “Power of Drama” evening in collaboration with the English Language Department. The event will be held as an internal university competition in which participating teams will adapt selected literary works in English for stage performance.
Several student groups coordinated under the Theatre Club will take part in the competition. Club members will supervise and support the rehearsal process by providing guidance, monitoring progress, and assisting teams in preparing their performances for the final showcase.
