On April 27, 2022, Times Higher Education (THE), one of the world's most influential rating agencies, identified the world's best universities for their social and economic contributions based on the UN Sustainable Development Goals for 2022 and announced the ranking table. The 4th edition of the ranking includes 1406 universities from 106 countries.

Khazar University ranks 601-800 in the rankings, with the highest results in all areas from Azerbaijan.

Khazar University has proved its quality of education, being in the 201-300 range for the quality of education in the rankings.

So, Khazar University ranks between the 101-200 range in 1 of the fields, 201-300 in 2 fields, 301-400 in 4, 401+ in 1, and  601-800 in 3 and 401-600 in 7.
