In March and April, the Ministry of Education of the Azerbaijan Republic and Azerbaijan Educational Workers’ Public Union National Committee jointly organized an arts festival in honor of the 93^rd birthday of National Leader Heydar Aliyev. The competition jury of the festival was led by People’s Artist Firangiz Alizade, Chairman of Azerbaijan Composer’s Union.

On April 12, three ensembles (Khazar University, Odlar Yurdu University, and Azerbaijan State Marine Academy) performed before the jury in the World Concert Hall of Khazar University. Khazar University’s ensembles are participating in five categories of the competition: national dance, modern dance, vocal performance, stage performance, and choir.

The winners will be announced within the first ten days of May.
