On April 11-12, the IX annual Student Spring National Student Arts Festival coordinated by Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Youth and Sports as well as Azerbaijan Student Youth Organizations’ Union took place in Azerbaijan State Russian Drama Theater. Khazar University participated in two categories of the competition and won both.

The university’s dance ensemble (instructors: Sabina Ismayilova and Telman Aliyev) took first place in the dance category, as did Musa Abdullayev, third-year student of the School of Economics and Management (instructor: Associate Professor Zulfiyya Sadigova, Head of the Department of Music and Fine Arts) in the vocal performance category.
