An article by Dr. Elvin Ahmadov, Head of the Petroleum Engineering Department at Khazar University, has been published in the conference proceedings book titled "OIL AND GAS POTENTIAL OF DEEPLY BURIED PALEOZOIC DEPOSITS IN THE PRE-CASPIAN BASIN", which is indexed in the Scopus database following an international conference held in Atyrau, Kazakhstan. Notably, Dr. Ahmadov is the sole author representing Azerbaijan in this publication.

The paper is dedicated to the strategy of transforming hydrocarbon resource management systems, one of the key issues in oil and gas geology. It is worth highlighting that starting from the 2025–2026 academic year, the course "Reserve Management" has also been introduced into the department's curriculum.
