The QS ranking agency announced the list of the world's best universities on June 19, 2025.

According to its results, Khazar University is ranked between 951 and 1000 of the world's best universities in the "QS World University Rankings 2026" publication.

Thus, in the ranking, universities are evaluated based on their indicators of "Academic reputation", "Article citations", "Employer reputation", "Alumni reputation", "Faculty-student ratio", "Foreign faculty share", "International research network", "Foreign student share" and "Sustainability".

It should be noted that Khazar University is the first among Azerbaijani universities in terms of article citations and the number and diversity of foreign students. Khazar University also ranks 538th among the world's universities in terms of diversity of international students.
