An article by Assoc. Prof. Orkhan Valiyev, Head of Political Science and Philosophy Department at Khazar University, titled “Nationalism and borders”, has been published in Fuyuzat.az.

Assoc. Prof. Valiyev notes in his article that global migration and technological development have undermined the concepts of borders and sovereignty of nation states, which in turn has led to the strengthening of radical nationalism and the emergence of harsh decisions in international politics. It is emphasized that these trends have led to the re-discussion of the concepts of borders and nationalism at the academic level.
