On May 19, 2025, a ceremonial event was organized at Baku Turkish Anatolian High School on the occasion of Commemoration of Atatürk, Youth and Sports Day, with the participation of the Turkish Ambassador and representatives of various institutions. Associate Professor Telman Nusretoğlu, Director of the History and Archaeology Department, also participated in the event.

After the holiday events, Associate Professor Telman Nusretoğlu was a guest on TRT Avaz channel's live broadcast and answered questions from Fatih Avanos. During the live broadcast, the national struggle process carried out under difficult conditions under the leadership of Mustafa Kemal Pasha and Türkiye's struggle for independence and freedom were extensively explained.
