On April 17, 2025, the closing ceremony of the year “Shusha – Cultural Capital of the Islamic World 2024” and the First Islamic World Cultural Forum titled “Preservation and Revival of Cultural Heritage in the Post-Conflict Period” took place in Shusha at the Uzeyir Hajibeyli Hall of Shusha Hotel. The event was organized by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
Among the participants of this international event was Ulvi Babasoy, a lecturer at the Department of Languages and Literatures of Khazar University. The forum brought together cultural figures from Azerbaijan and around the world to discuss the cultural heritage of Karabakh and Azerbaijan, the damage it has suffered, restoration efforts in the post-conflict period, and future prospects.
