On March 18, 2025, Khazar University hosted an inspiring and festive masterclass led by Madina Guliyeva, the founder of the CozyByMadi brand. The event brought together students and staff from the School of Economics and Management, offering a hands-on experience that blended culture, creativity, and tourism innovation.

The masterclass centered around two main themes: “Design and Decoration for Tourism” and “Novruz Preparations.” Participants explored culturally rooted and visually captivating decoration techniques tailored for the tourism industry. Special emphasis was placed on the traditional elements of the Novruz holiday.

During the session, Madina Guliyeva guided participants through the process of designing festive displays and tables using symbolic and natural items such as samani, traditional sweets, fruits, and handmade crafts—all associated with Novruz. By sharing her own experiences in the field, she inspired students to create their own works of festive art.
