On March 5, 2025, a high-level meeting was convened with Dr. Gulzhanat Tayauova, Vice-Rector for International Relations at TURAN University (Republic of Kazakhstan).

The strategic gathering was attended by a distinguished delegation from Khazar University, including Acting Rector Prof. Muhammad Nuriyev, Dean of the School of Economics and Management Dr. Raziya Isayeva, Dean of the School of Science and Engineering Dr. Fakhranda Afandiyeva, Dean of the Graduate School of Science, Art and Technology Dr. Gunel Bahaddinova, Head of the Department of History and Archaeology Associate Professor Telman Guliyev, Head of the Department of Political Sciences and Philosophy Associate Professor Orkhan Valiyev, Director of Public Relations and Media Alovsat Amirbayli, and Head of the International Relations Department Fatima Valiyeva.

During the substantive discussions, a bilateral cooperation agreement was formalized, solidifying the institutional partnership. The comprehensive dialogue encompassed numerous avenues for strengthening collaborative initiatives and fostering academic synergies between the educational establishments.

At the end of the meeting, gifts were presented and commemorative photos were taken.
