This program provided viewers with extensive information about the place of Aleppo and Damascus in Turkish-Islamic history, particularly the settlement of Oghuz-Turkmen groups in the region starting from the Abbasid period, the governance of Syria after the dissolution of the Ottoman state and events during the Baath regime, Azerbaijan-Syria historical and cultural relations, and the importance of Syria's territory in terms of dominance over the Mediterranean basin.
