On December 12, 2024, the defense of Alif Paramardhika Putera, an international master’s student from Indonesia on the topic of "Examining Diplomatic Interplay: A Study of Bilateral and Multilateral Mechanisms in Indonesia-Azerbaijan Relations" took place at the Department of Political Science and Philosophy at Khazar University.

The chairman of the defense commission was Assoc. Prof. Mehman Hasanov, a lecturer at the Department of Political Science and Sociology at Baku State University. The commission members were Assoc. Prof. Orkhan Valiyev, department head at Khazar University, and Prof. Vasila Hajiyeva, and Guljan Kulakhmet, lecturers at the Department. After presentations and discussions on the topic, the work was positively evaluated.
