A joint article by Dilbar Zeynalova, Head of the Languages and Literatures Department at Khazar University, and Department Associate Professor Ulvi Babasoy, titled "Metatextual and intertextual relationship in Kamal Abdulla's novel "Laokoon...Laokoon...or the 'true' writing history of a novel" has been published in the "Revista Universidad Y Sociedad" journal (2024, Volume 16, No. 4, pp. 178-188), which is indexed in the Web of Science database, published by Senfuegos University in Cuba.

The article investigates metatextual and intertextual relationships in the novel, noting that the plot includes the writing history of the author's first postmodern novel "Incomplete Manuscript".
