Miryusif Majidov, a second-grade student at Khazar University's "Dünya" School, born in 2017, has won the "Tbilisi Open-2024" international karate tournament recently held in the capital of Georgia, Tbilisi.

Athletes from Azerbaijan, Türkiye, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Iran, and Armenia competed in the tournament.

The Azerbaijan Karate Federation was represented by a large team of children, teenagers, and youth who achieved high results in the final matches.

One of these athletes is Miryusif Majidov, a student of coach Shahin Atamov. He competed in four personal kumite matches among children, facing two Armenian and two Georgian karatekas. In the final, Miryusif Majidov defeated an Armenian karateka with a score of 12:3, winning the tournament.
