On October 28, 2024, the International Relations Department of Khazar University organized a meeting for university students about education in the USA. At the meeting, Natalia Rekhter, who came to Khazar University under the Fulbright program, and experts from the American Councils for Azerbaijan gave speeches and informed students about education in the USA.

After Associate Professor Irada Khalilova, the university's rector, introduced the guests, the event continued with Natalia Rekhter's speech. She provided information to students about existing universities in the USA, and what documents and international certificates are required for admission. Representatives of the American Councils, Jala Akhundova and Ramila Verdiyeva, mainly shared their thoughts with students about what social activities and social profile a candidate should have, in addition to educational indicators, for admission to highly ranked universities in the USA.

Afterwards, students addressed their questions to the speakers, and discussions were held around these questions.
