The Mechanical Engineering Department at Khazar University has recently launched an initiative aimed at reducing campus energy waste, bringing together a dedicated team of students and faculty to conduct a comprehensive review of campus energy usage. Led by Dr. Mehdi Kiyasatfar, Coordinator of the Mechanical Engineering Department, this initiative seeks to pinpoint areas of high energy consumption and implement strategies to enhance efficiency.
The team’s work will involve detailed analyses of energy patterns across various facilities, providing recommendations to optimize energy use, lower costs, and reduce environmental impact. The goal of this project is not only to identify and address energy waste but also to give students hands-on experience in sustainable energy management. This project aligns with Khazar University’s broader commitment to sustainability and supports the university's mission to foster innovation in environmental responsibility.
