Korea University Doctoral Student Gunay Karimova Receives BK21 Award at 6th Asian Hydrobiological Society Conference

Gunay Elbrus Karimova, a Khazar University alumna who majored in History and Geography Education from 2012 to 2016 and is currently a doctoral student at Korea University, received the BK21 best award for her research presented at the 6th Biannual Conference of the Asian Society for Hydrobiology (ASH).  G. Karimova's research focuses on understanding aquatic biological ecosystems and their potential impact on the field.

In her PhD research, G. Karimova studies the interaction of species within aquatic ecosystems and the importance of maintaining their health.
