On May 21, 2024, a meeting was held with Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Rector Zhanseit Tuimebayev and Deputy Director of the Department of Foreign Affairs Almas Bektanov at Khazar University.

The meeting was attended by Khazar University's founder, Chairman of the Board of Directors and Trustees Prof. Acad. Hamlet Isakhanli, Rector Assoc. Prof. Irada Khalilova, Vice-Rector for Administration and Student Affairs Isakhan Isakhanli, Development Director Raziya Isayeva, Director of the Quality Assurance Center Lyudmila Sotova, Head of the Physics and Electronics Department Farida Tatardar, Vice-Dean of the Graduate School of Science, Art and Technology Gunel Bahaddinova, Head of the Mathematics Department Ali Huseynli, and Head of the International Relations Department Fatima Valiyeva.

During the meeting, an agreement was signed to strengthen bilateral relations, and discussions were held on enhancing the partnership and academic ties between the educational institutions.

At the end of the signing ceremony, gifts were exchanged between the parties
