On June 4, 2024, a seminar on "Southern Caucasus in Poland's eastern policy" was held at Khazar University by Dr.Jakub Bornio, a lecturer of European Studies at Wroclaw University of the Republic of Poland.

Dr. Orkhan Valiyev, the head of Khazar University's Department of Political Sciences and Philosophy, along with department lecturers Guljan Gulakhmed and Ruslan Khalilov, as well as department assistant and lecturer Aydan Raufqizi, graduate students, and undergraduate students, participated in the seminar.

During the seminar, Dr.Jakub Bornio touched upon Poland's political line after independence, its integration into the European Union, relations with Eastern countries, the South Caucasus in Poland's eastern policy, the high level of development of Azerbaijan-Poland relations, and other issues. After the presentation, the questions of faculty members and students were answered.
