On May 24, 2024, a meeting was held with Ziya Mehdiyev participated in the exchange program at Khazar University for the spring semester of 2023-2024 to conduct research in the field of doctoral studies under the Erasmus+ student exchange program (Erasmus KA171).

The meeting was attended by Fakhranda Efendiyeva, the dean of Khazar University's  School of Science and Engineering, Fatima Valiyeva, the head of the International Relations Office, and Ali Mirzazade, the coordinator of the International Relations Office.

The gathering included an introduction to Ziya Mehdiyev, followed by a discussion on the Erasmus+ student staff exchange program (Erasmus KA171) and potential future collaborations. Ziya Mehdiyev then presented details about his research conducted at Khazar University as part of the program.
