On January 23-26, 2024, Dr. Jeyhun Mammadov, the Dean of the School of Economics and Management, and Dr. Fakhranda Afandiyeva, the Dean of the School of Science and Engineering, participated in the official Kickoff Event of the recently funded Erasmus+ CBHE project titled "European Energy Efficiency towards Mutually Reinforcing Partnership with Azerbaijan, Georgia, and Ukraine - 3E-Partnership" at the Business and Technology University (BTU) in Tbilisi, Georgia.
The meeting encompassed exploring ongoing international projects at BTU, delving into the core objectives and strategies of the 3E-Partnership project, detailing specific tasks and responsibilities, outlining expected outcomes and deliverables, discussing management techniques and tools employed for effective project administration, reviewing initial steps and activities planned for implementation, and addressing the financial aspects associated with the 3E-Partnership.
Additionally, representatives of Khazar University and partner Universities delivered presentations highlighting their international projects and potential in energy-related education and research.
The goal of the 3E-Partnership project is to modernize and empower higher education institutions in Azerbaijan, Georgia, and Ukraine while enhancing their capacities for energy resilience and cross-regional cooperation. To accomplish this objective, the project focuses on two main pillars:
