On December 7-10, 2023, at the "Lifelong mental health" symposium dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Heydar Aliyev, psychologist Melek Karimova, the coordinator of the Department of Psychology, spoke on "Divorce or Family Psychotherapy?" as a speaker. Alongside highlighting factors fostering family communication, she shared insights on civil divorce and the institution of mediation, which has been introduced in our country in recent years. Answering participants' questions, M. Karimova imparted her scientific and practical knowledge, emphasizing the need for couples to consult family psychologists during crises and underscoring the importance of post-divorce psychological services.
