On November 13-16, 2023, an International Interuniversity Basketball tournament will be held in Lefkosia on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. Basketball team of Khazar University represents Azerbaijan in the international tournament.

On November 13, a pre-visit meeting was held with members of the University's basketball team. Head coach of the team Anar Hajiyev informed about the preparation. The team members' uniforms were reviewed.

Alovsat Amirbeyli, director of Public Relations and Media of the university, met with the members of the team. A commemorative photo was taken. The team members were sent to the airport.
