Students at the event held on the occasion of H.Z.Taghiyev's jubilee

The 200th anniversary of the birth of philanthropist Haji Zeynalabdin Taghiyev (1823-1924) is included in the UNESCO's program of jubilees for 2022-2023. On this occasion, on October 11, 2023, Asoc. Prof.Khatira Yusifova, the lecturer of the Department of Languages and Literatures of Khazar University, organized a seminar at the Institute of Manuscripts named after Muhammad Fuzuli.

The seminar provided detailed information about Haji Zeynalabdin Tagiyev, who played a major role in the history of education of Azerbaijan, the development of secular education, the education of Azerbaijani women, and the girls ' school opened on his initiative and support.

The 2nd year students of the School of Humanities, Education and Social Sciences majoring in teaching Azerbaijani language and literature also attended the event. At the same time, the students got acquainted with the exhibits and manuscripts kept in the Exposition Hall of the Institute of Manuscripts.
