On May 8, 2023, a meeting was held at Khazar University with "SHG Swiss Hospitality Group", one of Switzerland's leading companies in the field of tourism, hospitality, and tourism management. The founder of Khazar University, chairman of the Board of Directors and Trustees professor, academician Hamlet Isakhanli, rector of the University associate professor Irade Khalilova, vice-rector for International Relations Vlad Vernygora, dean of the School of Economics and Management Jeyhun Mammadov, dean of the Graduate School of Economics and Business Ingilab Ahmadov, coordinator of the Department of Economics and Management Bahadır Baysal, director of SHG Swiss Hospitality Group Eric Gregoire, director of Business Development Attia Elrefaei and professor Ahmed Sami attended the meeting.

At the meeting, the representatives of "SHG Swiss Hospitality Group" were given detailed information about Khazar University, cooperation on bachelor's and MBA education in the field of Hospitality Management and Business Management was discussed. The parties expressed their interest in establishing joint cooperation. To this end, it was decided to continue the negotiations and hold the further meetings.
