On March 1-3, 2023, the official opening of the EURIE-2023 Education Summit took place at the Lutfi Kirdar International Congress Center (ICEC) located in Istanbul. The President of the Union of Eurasian Universities, Dr. Mustafa Aydin, opened the summit with an opening speech.
The summit was attended by Kamala Mustafayeva, assistant at the Center for Quality Assurance, and Fatima Valiyeva, coordinator of the International Relations Office.
The EURIE Summit serves as a meeting place for university representatives and higher education professionals. This annual summit includes exhibitions and conferences, which allows the summit participants to get to know each other better and increase new partnership opportunities.
The program of the 3-day EURIE-2023 summit included panel sessions, round tables, meetings with prominent representatives of education, as well as an educational exhibition. The delegation of Khazar University took an active part in the educational exhibition and other events.
At the exhibition, representatives of Khazar University provided information about the activities and admission of international students, scholarship opportunities of the University at the stand of the University. In addition, representatives visited the stands of the University partners, and negotiations were held with other universities on new collaborations.
On the second day of the summit, President of the Union of Eurasian Universities Dr. Mustafa Aydin approached the Azerbaijani stand, which included the stands of Khazar University, Nakhchivan State University, Azerbaijan University of Languages, Sumgait State University, National Aviation Academy, and Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction. At the meeting, Dr. Mustafa Aydin emphasized the importance of representing the universities by their representatives at the Summit.
