On March 1-3, 2023, a National Seminar was held on “Strengthening the professional skills of women for the role of academic leadership” within the framework of the UNESCO National Participation Program at ADA University.

At the three-day seminar, Khazar University was represented by Arzu Badalova, coordinator of the International Relations office, and Humay Huseynova, assistant to the rector.

The seminar was aimed at studying the current situation of underrepresentation of women in leadership positions in higher education institutions and in the general scientific community, identifying and discussing the factors hindering women's leadership in management.

At the seminar, Shams Mustafayeva, Naila Mehrabova, Vafa Kazdal and other trainers made presentations on improving leadership and professional development skills and promoting gender equality in management through practical exercises.

The event ended with a discussion and presentation of certificates.
