On March 1, 2023, a two-day international scientific conference was launched dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the founder of Khazar University, Chairman of the Board of Directors and Trustees, professor, academician Hamlet Isakhanli, organized by IKSAD (Institute for Economic Development and Social Research) in the Marble Hall of Khazar University. The event was attended by the administration and staff of the University, and specialists from various fields of science.

The first large meeting of the conference was devoted to the anniversary of H.Isakhanli. The conference was opened by IKSAD Chief Coordinator Alvan Jafarov, who gave floor to H.Isakhanli. H.Isakhanli delivered a speech on the history of science and the contribution of science to humanity.

IKSAD President Mustafa Latif Emek congratulated H.Isakhanli on his jubilee online and wished him every success.

The rector of the Khazar University, Irada Khalilova, delivered a congratulatory speech to H.Isakhanli, expressing that a gift had been prepared for him on behalf of the University. Lecturer in the Department of Architecture and Design of the University Hasanagha Hasanov presented H.Isakhanli with a graphic painting “In the Light of Poetry”, dedicated to the anniversary of H.Isakhanli.

IKSAD Chief Coordinator Alvan Jafarov presented IKSAD gifts to H.Isakhanli and I.Khalilova.

The conference continued to work in a hybrid format.
