Department Head at the Baku Water Innovation Forum

The Baku Water Innovation Forum was held on May 17, 2022 at the Baku Marriott Hotel Boulevard.

The forum, coordinated by “Aqualink” LLC and held with the organizational support of “Nijhuis Saur Industries”, companies “A.O.Smith” and “Hach” and “Facemark” LLC, was attended by local and foreign experts, company officials, as well as employees of government agencies working in this field and during the day, discussions were held on 3 panels. Speaking at the second panel on “Wastewater Management, Recycling, and Environmental Impacts,” Rovshan Abbasov, Head of the Geography and Environment Department at Khazar University, said that the rivers in Azerbaijan are not only a source of irrigation and drinking water, but also a place where the world's most valuable fish live. In 2040, Azerbaijan will be a country experiencing severe water stress. The only way out is to save water. Rovshan Abbasov also answered various questions.
