Event dedicated to work of Italian artist Michelangelo "Creation of Adam" at Mevlana Literature and Philosophy Research Institute

On May 14, 2022, the traditional "Open Day" of the Mevlana Literature and Philosophy Research Institute( MAFAI) at Khazar University, the famous Italian artist and sculptor Michelangelo's "Creation of Adam" was discussed. This work is one of the frescoes painted by Michelangelo on the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel in about 1511-1512. The fresco depicts the creation of man in the Bible book of Genesis, in which God breathed life into the first man, Adam.

First, the artist Mehdi Samadi gave detailed information about the artistic features of the work. Then Dr. Emin Alilu analyzed the work in terms of the anatomy of the human brain. Noting that the angelic images in the work correspond to the places of the front, middle and back of the human brain, E. Alilu gave interesting information about Michelangelo's extraordinary talent and inspiration, as he became aware of the hidden functions of the human brain, which are still not fully understood in the medical world today, and applied them in his work and answered questions.
