On February 24, 2022, the High Attestation Commission (HAC) under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan held an event to present diplomas and certificates to 43 applicants with scientific degrees and scientific titles in 12 fields.

At the event, Isakhan Isakhanli, Khazar University's Vice Rector for Management and Student Affairs, was awarded a diploma of Doctor of Sciences. By the decision of the HAC, he was awarded the degree of Doctor of Philology in the specialty 5716.01 - Azerbaijani literature and 5718.01 - World Literature (Russian literature).

It should be noted that Isakhan Isakhanli defended his doctoral dissertation on "The creativity of Sergei Yesenin in the Azerbaijan and eastern literary – Artistic context" at the Dissertation Council of the Institute of Literature named after Nizami Ganjavi of ANAS.
