On January 28, 2022, AZERTAC published news which says that Rovshan Abbasov, Head of the Department of Geography and Environment at Khazar University, has won the UASP (University Administration Support Program) program organized by IREX (International Research and Exchange Council).

The news says, according to the program, Abbasov will exchange experience and make several presentations at Florida State University from February 1 to March 1. R.Abbasov will also collect information on the research management mechanism at this university.
