On December 1, 2021, a meeting was held at Baku Olympic Stadium with the teams that qualified for the finals of the EdTech Startup competition held with the support of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
Out of 244 teams representing various universities in Azerbaijan, only 10 teams qualified for the finals. One of the 10 teams that qualified for the finals is the 'Pyramid' team, which represents Khazar University. The team members are Mushvig Nagizadeh, a 3rd year student of the university (majoring in Business Organization) and Ilkin Safarov, a 1st year student (majoring in accounting). Javid Jafarov, coordinator of the Education Department, is coordinating the startup competition for Khazar University.
The final stage of the competition will take place on December 10 at the JW Marriott Absheron Hotel. The top 3 teams will receive money prizes for implementing their start-up ideas.
The EdTech Startup competition, supported by the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, is a competition held among students studying in higher education institutions. The main purpose of the competition is to identify gaps and problems in the field of education among students in our country, to present technological solutions to eliminate them.
