On November 25, 2021, the UN Migration Network in Azerbaijan held a coordination meeting with the participation of member agencies, international organizations, government, civil society, academia and the private sector.
The co-chairs of the Network - UN Resident Coordinator in Azerbaijan Vladanka Andreyeva, Head of the UN Office in Azerbaijan Vladimir Giorgiyev and Chief of the State Migration Service Vusal Huseynov stressed the importance of joint activities within the Network.
The participants were informed about the process of reviewing the Development Plan of the UN Migration Network in Azerbaijan for 2021-2025 and the opinions of the partners presented to the members at the previous meeting by the Secretariat of the Network on May 31, and other speeches and presentations were made.
At the end, gratitude was expressed to UN agencies participating in the Network and interested in this organization, the EU Delegation, the Council of Europe, the German Embassy, the State Migration Service, the State Committee for Work with the Diaspora, the Ombudsman's Office, the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population, civil society organizations, Khazar University and BP representatives.
