On November 1-14, 2021, MBA in Mediation students of Graduate School of Economics and Business, under the guidance of the instructor of "Principles of Mediation" Nilufar Alizada, participated in a two-week intensive internship training program on mediation organized by Netherlands Business Academy in Dordrecht, the Kingdom of the Netherlands, within the framework of “MEDIATS” project of the European Commission's Erasmus+ program.
The main objective of the “MEDIATS” project is to make universities a driving force in the field of mediation, using European experience in Azerbaijan, Georgia, and Ukraine to improve the objective pre-trial resolution of conflicts.
The training was attended by Mehriban Yusifova, Nazrin Baghirli, Gasim Shaliyev, Zaur Mammadli, and Orkhan Mammadli. Having successfully completed the basic course of mediation with a total study load of 250 hours (9 ECTS), the students were awarded diplomas in mediation by the International Master Mediation Federation and the Netherlands Business Academy. Meanwhile, instructor Nilufar Alizada was honored with special distinction for acting as a co-assessor.
