On October 20, 2021, Khazar University administration and employees visited the grave of Javid Hasanov, the graduate student of the university, in the 2nd Alley of Martyrs, and laid a wreath at his grave.

On the same day, a memorial service was held at the Youth Center in his memory. Rector of Khazar University Irada Khalilova, Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Management Jeyhun Mammadov, Dean of the Faculty of Natural Sciences, Arts and Technology Saida Sharifova, Director of Public Relations and Media Alovsat Amirbeyli, Director of the Center for Psychology Malak Karimova, Head of the Department of Physics and Electronics Farida Tatardar, Coordinator of the Department of Economics and Management Bahadur Baysal, members of the Student Assembly and others. Rector Irada Khalilova addressed the commemoration ceremony.
