On October 14-15, 2021, Istanbul Aydin University organized an international conference entitled "Thirty years of independence of the Turkish republics."

Professor Abdulhaluk Mehmet Chay, Head of the Department of History of Istanbul Aydin University, Associate Professor Oraz Sapashev, Lecturer of the Department of General Languages and Turkology, Al-Farabi National University of Kazakhstan and other scientists delivered speeches at the conference.

In his speech, Associate Professor Telman Nusratoglu Guliyev, Head of the History and Archeology Department at Khazar University, commented on the events that took place in the Turkic world after independence, the integration of the Turkic states, and the challenges they faced.
