On July 14, 2021, a virtual meeting was held within the Erasmus+ MEDIATS project with the participation of partners. The meeting discussed the opening of master's programs in mediation in Azerbaijani universities, the development of a curriculum for these programs, the participation of students admitted to mediation in trainings at the Catholic University of Murcia (Spain) and the one-year extension of the project.

Khazar University was represented at the meeting by Ulkar Bayramova, Director of Teaching and Learning Center and Dr. Jeyhun Mammadov, Dean of School of Economics and Management.

Employees of Khazar University and Ganja State University answered questions about the implementation of the project and informed the project coordinators about mediation specialties.

Dr. Jeyhun Mammadov gave detailed information to the participants about the number of students admitted to the MBA program in mediation, the syllabus and credits. Dr. Mammadov said that a number of events and seminars related to mediation are planned to be held in the next academic year.

It was emphasized that the project is to be extended due to some problems caused by the late opening of mediation specialties in Azerbaijan, as well as the failure to carry out all the activities envisaged in the project because of Covid-19 and it was brought to the attention of the participants that a letter will be sent to EACEA for this purpose.
