On July 7th, 2021, the first seminar of Khazar University entitled “Issues of water use in urban and rural areas in the context of climate changes within the project – arCc” was held by Dr. Rovshan Abbasov, Associate Professor, Head of the Geography and Environmental Sciences Department.

Representatives of 14 project partners from 13 countries, Dr. George Dafoulas, a professor at the University of Middlesex and Khazar University, Development Department staff participated in the seminar. The seminar began with an introductory speech by the Head of the Development Center, Raziya Isayeva. She informed participants about the project and then introduced the speaker of the seminar, Dr. Rovshan Abbasov. Then, Dr. Rovshan Abbasov made a presentation on “Issues of water use in urban and rural areas in the context of climate changes”. After presentation, he answered participants’ questions.
